Outside of saying I'm the wife of a hard-working Police Chief and mother of the two most adorable little boys on earth, I'm simply going to make lists of a few of my favorite things and leave it at that. I'm pretty well-rounded, easy to get along with and wouldn't be surprised, in the least, if we have something in common!
Favorite Activities:
Hunting, camping, kayaking, cycling, gardening, snorkeling, deep-see fishing, lifting weights, geocaching, target shooting, bowling, cross-country skiing, sledding, journaling, writing on my blog, writing music, throwing snowballs, playing piano, reading, singing, cooking, making cake sculptures, photography, watching football on t.v. and hockey live.
Favorite Sports Teams:
Dallas Cowboys (I know, you don't need to say anything), Montana Grizzlies Football, Colorado Avalanche, Boston Red Sox, Missoula Maulers and Missoula Osprey.
Music:
I enjoy an assortment of music. Anything from the way back when to now. I appreciate music too much to not enjoy every era of it. Some personal favorites are: U2, CCR, Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Guns and Roses, Def Lepard, Martina McBride, Brooks and Dunn, Travis Tritt, Faith Hill, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilara, Train, Chris Tomlin, Mandisa, Casting Crowns and Third Day - just to name a few. Remember? I said I pretty much liked everything.
Movies and T.V.:
My favorite movie of ALL TIME is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. We, as a family, watch it every year on Christmas Eve. Its absolutely my favorite and I laugh harder at it each year. Other movies I have enjoyed are: G.I. Jane, A Few Good Men, Braveheart, Gran Torino, Facing The Giants, Fireproof, Remember The Titans, The Notebook, Dazed and Confused and True Grit. I am sure there is more, but that is all I can think off of the top of my head.
On the T.V. I enjoy the sitcoms: "King of Queens", "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "The Office". For Reality T.V., every year I watch, "Survivor", "Celebrity Apprentice" and "Hell's Kitchen". I watch "The O'Reilly Factor" every night and my husband and I recently had our email read live. Now that was awesome!!
My philosophy on life is John 3:16 and I am inspired by God, my husband, my children and a couple of really good friends.
My work history is pretty boring. I worked as a Legal Assistant in a couple different Legal offices for 10 years. I've been home now for 3 and am quite convinced I made the right choice. My husband asked me the other day about working part time. I told him nah, I had too much to do to get a job. I'm too busy to work.
God Bless him, he just smiled . . .
